Project Overview
The current NYU Meyers Intranet site has been collecting complains for its ill information architecture and outdated design style. The project goal is to improve the usability of NYU Departmental Intranet website to encourage users to use it more often.
Role & Team
Group work with one other designer Yeonie Lee. I am partly responsible for the UX research phase and fully responsible for the UX design phase for both the intranet web app and mobile app.
Project Trajectory
Discover
Personas
The current site has two main users
Content owners: admins of the department
End users: all faculties and staffs of the department.
To study the current Meyers Intranet site, we conducted two researches for content owners and end users through affinity grouping, context mapping, heuristic evaluation, and user interviews to understand the problems better.
